Seattle Caterer Lisa Dupar to Teach Teens Healthy Cooking


Classes To Be Held At Seattle’s Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic

REDMOND, Wash. Chef Lisa Dupar has joined forces with Solid Ground and Share Our Strength’s® Operation Frontline to teach teens how to prepare and cook healthy meals. The Power of Eating Right program will be taught at Seattle’s Odessa Brown Clinic. The classes, which are filled with clients from the clinic, will run on Wednesday afternoons from 2:30pm-4:30pm from July 16-August 20. Chef Dupar will be joined in each class by a volunteer nutritionist. Operation Frontline coordinates and trains the volunteer chefs and nutritionists to teach the six-week classes on nutrition, healthy cooking and food budgeting for individuals at risk of hunger and malnutrition. A longtime advocate teaching young people the benefits of healthy eating, this is Chef Dupar’s fifth time teaching classes on behalf of Operation Frontline.
