Washington Wine 101: “Pairing for the Pairing Impaired”

Wine expert and Chef-extraordinaire Jonathan Zimmer offers refinement class on how to appropriately pair Washington Wines with your gourmet dinner

What: Does red wine go with salmon? What wines should you never pair with vegetarian cuisine? What really is the difference between a syrah and a petite syrah?

Wine aficionado or not, if you’re drawing a blank to any of these basic wine questions, Lisa Dupar Catering’s Washington Wine 101: “Pairing for the Pairing Impaired” might help you raise your Wine IQ.

With Washington wines there's considerable room for creativity and free-flowing expression in pairing food and wine. Jonathan’s class will explore ways to pair home-grown wines with gourmet bites.

Impress your friends, increase your dinner party know-how and learn a little more about the award-winning wines Washington State has to offer – and what Pacific Northwest fares they pair with best!

Join Lisa Dupar Catering for an intellectual discussion on pairings and how to achieve a perfect balance between the flavors of a dish and the homegrown wine that accompanies it.
